What began as two brothers selling handcrafted products became a responsibility, a calling, and ultimately a lifelong commitment to the art of leather.
As the founder of Wogah Leather Crafters, Polo Joel Wogah is a talented Cameroonian living in Cape Town, South Africa.
Polo's journey into leather crafting began alongside his elder brother, selling their products to satisfied customers in and around the city.
In 2018, Polo's brother passed away, leaving him to shoulder the responsibility of managing the growing demand from their loyal clients.
Determined to honor his brother's legacy, Polo made the courageous decision to leave his other work behind and fully immerse himself in the art of crafting leather.
Seeking to enhance his skills, Polo pursued a course with a renowned leather crafting institution in South Africa. The experience transformed his craftsmanship.
Today, Polo continues to create exquisite leather products while sharing his talents with underprivileged individuals in our communities.
